Abstract (EN)
The behavior of the leader affects the job satisfaction of the employees. The main purpose of this research is to examine the effects of perceived leadership behaviors in increasing job satisfaction levels. For this purpose, a survey was conducted to 278 male employees working in as workers, foreman and other processes of production at the non-ferrous metal industry in Istanbul, 80 micro, small, medium and large scale enterprises. In the questionnaire form, while examining the effects of demographic variables such as age, educational status, work experience, marital status and job position on Minnesota Satisfaction Scale, on the other hand the relationship between perceived leadership behavior and job satisfaction was analyzed with the Leadership Style Behavior Scale. The results of the survey were analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. As a result of the research, when the relationship between leadership styles and job satisfaction is examined, it was found that job satisfaction of employees is negative and low with authoritarian leadership, positive and moderate with democratic leadership, positive and moderate with laissez faire leadership, positive and moderate with transformational leadership, and positive and low with transactional leadership.
