Abstract (EN)
Tiliae flos, ''linden flowers'' in our country and in the world are used for viral diseases such as flu, colds and cough amollient due to its mucilage content. In this study, general information about Tiliae flos drug, clinical and biological activity studies were compiled by reviewing literature; macroscopic, microscopic, foreign matter determination, loss test in drying and whole ash quantification analyses were performed by compairing of a 3 samples which are sold in pharmacies and herbalist as linden. Also by using thin layer chromatography the active compounds of the samples from herbalists and phamacies were compared. The results were evaluated according to Turkish Pharmacopoeia-II European Pharmacopoeia Adaptation 2016. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that 3 different pharmacy and herbalist samples were found to be in accordance with the criteria specified in the Turkish Pharmacopoeia-II European Pharmacopoeia Adaptation in all macroscopic, microscopic, dry-loss test and ash quantification analysis.
