Abstract (EN)
People all over the world used the walls to express their love, joy and sadness, the football team they supported or vision of world, in short, whatever happened in their lives. Feeling stuck in a system or social rules, or lost in the chaos of the city, to describe concepts such as love, pain, fear and hate, self-expression or show that it exists in the world; Here are some of the reasons to write on the wall. This action is also the search for meaning in the complexity of everyday life. In this sense, the wall that listens to their troubles and and it is an unlimited space that unreservedly embraces them. They are kind of recording devices that operate from one end of the city to the other. Also they are public spaces open to all kinds of change. Eyüp, Tophane, Cihangir, Kadikoy, Okmeydani… the walls of each district reveal it's identity and then disclose it's similarities and differences with the others in a bare and original language. Thus, we are witnessing the life styles and orientations of the people living in these neighborhoods without generalizations. The political and social problems, loves, pain and losses, and the realities of life in these countries where they live from or the problems in other parts of the world have been written on these walls by anonymous actors. In this way, the walls are the memories in which the relation of spatial belonging and space are manifested and everything about life is recorded.
