The analysis of the attitudes towards statistics case of vocational school

In this survey , orienting of a scale , which measures the stance of the students against Maths , towards Statistics lecture is purposed by considering the behaviour, the basis components that create behaviour , the properties that the scale units require and Likert Behaviour Scale. The unapplied scale of 40 items that comprises of the differentiating dimensions of the tendency was applied to 100 students being in the department of economy and accounting in MYO in the year of 2005-2006. Depending upon the findings, 6 items out of 40 were removed from the scale. It was apprehended that the scale has 3 dimensions at the end of the analysis. The 10 items gathered at the first dimension is correlated with fear aand reliance; the 12 items at the second dimension is correlated with profession and significance ; the 12 ones at the third dimension is correlated with love, pleasure and being interested towards statistics. Besides the reliability coefficient of Cronbach Alpha was found 0.8273 related with the scale that was developed. In the end of analysis, concerning to validity and reliability finding that is received the of scale attitude statistic, it had showed using the validity and reliability of attitude that is regard statistic lesson of students . The final tendency scale that took its latest shape towards the statistics lesson Vocational School in 2005-2006 , who were selected by the method of Simple Random Sampling. Descriptive statistics , analysis of correlation , chi-square test , independent sample T Test , the analysis of 2 way variance, covariance analysis statistics techniques were applied to the findings.
