Women organized in the employment market: The case of Düzce province

In this study, women's participation in the labor market and union organization is examined based on the course of the development of labor organizations and trade union movements after the development of industrialization in Turkey. The processes of self-existence of women, who have the highest burden of victimization in terms of gender roles attributed to individuals, were investigated despite these artificially produced roles in the labor market. In addition, the union rights and consciousness levels of individuals through working women were examined. Within the unions established to protect the rights and interests of workers, it is emphasized to what extent the rights of women who face gender inequalities in business life are defended and represented. The reasons behind the low participation of women in union organizations, women's approach to union organizations, the attitude of unions on women workers and their studies were examined in the whole research.
