Abstract (EN)

In this research, by focusing on the concepts of workplace incivility and intention to leave, the effect of workplace incivility on intention to leave was tried to be determined from the perspective of managers and employees. This study examines the effect between workplace incivility and its sub-dimensions (Hostility, Privacy Invasion, Exclusionary Behavior, and Gossiping) and intention to leave by surveying 293 people working in the ceramic and porcelain manufacturing sector in Kütahya. This case study used a questionnaire method to collect the data. The analysis of the collected data was performed using the SPSS package program. To evaluate the data, the following analysis methods were used: Exploratory Factor analysis, Reliability Test, Regression, and Correlation Analysis. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the workplace incivility increases the intention to leave the job both for managers and employees. Particularly for employees, the intention to leave the job is getting increased in the cases of managers' hostile behavior towards them and gossiping about staff members. At the same time, it was determined that another factor which increases the employees' intention to leave the position is the gossips about them among their colleagues.
