Abstract (EN)
Energy sector is very important for growth and development of societies. Energy demand is come with because of the rise of industrialization and urbanization of countries. Therefore energy sector is on the agenda of all around the world. Also, in the coming years, energy sector is expected more important. Because many countries are inadequate for growing of energy demand and are dependent to foreign resources, like Turkey. Increasing prices of imported energy resources gives negative impact on country economies. In this work, production and consumption of energy resources are analysed, the place of energy sector in Turkish economy and dependence of energy sector in Turkey is examined with input-output analyse. Furthermore, in this work there are simulations around the different scenarios about the effects of increasing of crude oil prices to sectoral and general price level.
