Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to put the effect for student the teaching the geography subjects drama technics.The research is an experimental study is prepared according to pre-test, last-test and Stability test. In the research the achievement test is implemented for collect data. This study is implemented on the education year of 2006?2007 city of Ankara, Altındağ district, İ.M.K. B Trade Vocational High School at the classes of 9/A and 9/B on the total 54 students. While teaching the units of 9.Class subjects of physical geography; daily of earth, Climatic Information, Soils and Geological Eras the lesson is taught to experiment group of 9/A with drama techniques, and lesson taught as the classical methods to the 9/B class which is control group. At the successes of the students for defining the differential on the final of the research process, achievement test is prepared by the researcher. In this prepared test, before the subject taught as pre-test, after the taught the subject final test and defining the persistence of the learning the recalling test is implemented after 1 month for each two group.As by the pre- test results it appeared there is not any differences by the related information each of the two group meanly there is not deep difference. While the results of pre-test, final test and recalling test are inspected the experimental group is more successful as to the control group; and significant difference is displayed between their arithmetic avarage of points.Key Words:?Drama?Classical Teaching Methods?Success Level?Geography EducationAdvısor: Ülkü ESER ÜNALDIPages:115
