The vocabulary of "İyi ve Kötü Prens Öyküsü"

İyi ve Kötü Prens Öyküsü", which is one of the most prominent works that provide clues on the characteristics of Old Uighur Turkish Language and the Buddhist Uighur's culture, has been examined in terms of vocabulary in this work. The vocabulary is discussed after it is divided (thematically) into topics. This study consists of three main parts, including Introduction, The Vocabulary, and the Result. In the introduction section, the aim of the study, the method and its content are included. General information about the work, previous studies, publications, and a summary about the work is covered in this section. The Vocabulary part is the main section of the work. In its entirety it consists of three main titles: Proper Noun Knowledge and Grammatical Items, Nouns According to Subjects, Verbs According to Subjects, Proper Noun Knowledge; includes persons' names, toponomy, and tribe/nation names. Grammatical Items covers prepositions, conjunctions and characteristics names that can be adverb of quality or adjective as regards to the sentence they depend. Nouns According to Subjects divided into classified under many subject titles. In the Verbs According to Subjects section, verbs are classified both in terms of content and titles, further, they are also analysed whether they qualify action verbs or stative verbs. In the Conclusion part of the study, the findings presented through tables. In the Bibliography part, the utilized sources are included.
