Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between total electron content (TEC) and solar and geomagnetic parameters for mid-latitude ionosphere is investigated. In this context, F10.7 cm solar flux and Interplanetary Magnetic Fields (IMF) from solar parameters and Kp and Dst indices from geomagnetic parameters effecting on TEC are taken into account. The relationship between the variables was investigated by means of a statistical multiple regression model for universal time 12:00 and 24:00 at the years when the 24th solar cycle was minimum (2009) and maximum (2015). As a result, it was found that explainable rate by solar and geomagnetic parameters of TEC changes in 2009 are lower than in 2015. In 2009, the relationship between TEC changes and solar and geomagnetic parameters was found to be higher at daytime at night time. The reason for this may be that the ionosphere reacts to high-speed solar wind currents at night in this year. As expected in 2015, the relationship between TEC and independent parameters is greater during daytime than at night.
