Özet (EN)
The study covers the dates between September 2019 and August 2020. A total of 828 cases were studied. It consisted of 461 cat, 358 dog and 9 undocumented cases. Cases peaked at 6 and 11 months. 72% of the incoming cases consisted of animals with open epiphyseal plates. Cases of long bone fractures in stray animals are numerous and costly. Accidents take a serious place in the causes of fractures. Drivers need to be more careful in this regard and safe living spaces for animals are required. It has been observed that the majority of cases are young animals.
