Socio- economic cultural condition of İzmir in 1936

This study aimed to give information about the city of İzmir?s -where has been the center of the democracy and social life from past to present day-socio cultural and socio economic life in the year of 1936. Such that, İzmir where is indispensable for cultural life, is very important at the present day in the point of containing the biggest export seaport and containing the Kültür Park where enables us to publıcıty the cultural and commercıal actıvıtıes of most of countries every year. İn 1936 which Kültür Park was established and the aspect of İzmir had been start to change after the destructıve fire also the daily life, entertainment life, commercial activities, spor, health, tourism, banking,insurance and cooperative activities of İzmir was tried to introduce.İn these years great language congress were gathered , history courses were opened ,importend developments were done about education and also education and investment works were tried to introduce.Beside the studies about emigrant?s housing , informations were given about the bussiness of governing a city for changing the aspect of İzmir .The activities of İzmir seaport which developed seriously the commercial life of İzmir evaluated by comprehending the years before and after 1936. Besides the folk of İzmir?s working and life conditions were tried to consider and present a historical cross section of 1936.Key words: cultural life, daily life, seaport, Kültürpark
