Abstract (EN)

In recent years, tourist consumer behavior has begun to show a trend from mass tourism to special interest tourism. This tendency is supported by the fact that tourists can plan their trips in the interests of their own interest and are able to behave more individually and travel differently during their travels. As a result of this movement, demand for special interest tourism has increased. The destination planners who notice the demand for special interest tourism mobility, whose interests are decisive, and particularly developed countrie's tourism routes, are the forefront. The main theme of the work is the inventory of the gastronomic product potential in the villages located on the peninsula of Izmir-Karaburun which has it's own gastronomic values and the establishment of gastronomic tourism routes through Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
