Abstract (EN)

Surface water phytoplankton, deep water phytoplankton, zooplankton, mussels (Mytilus galloprovincialis), sea bream (Sparus aurata), grey mullet (Mugil cephalus), bogue (Boops boops) and horse mackerel (Trachurus trachurus) were sampled seasonally in order to determine concentrations of organic lead compounds (TEL, TEL+, TML+, DEL++, DML++) and inorganic lead (Pb+2) from Izmir Bay. Analyses were carried with GC-MS. All organolead compounds and inorganic lead were measured in all samples and stations. Concentrations ranges are varying according to organism and the type of analyte. Orders of magnitude in zooplankton are TEL< DML++< TEL+< TML+< DEL++< Pb+2; in surface water phytoplankton TEL< DML++< TML+< TEL+< DEL++< Pb+2; deep water phytoplankton TEL< DML++< TML+< TEL+< DEL++< Pb+2. Order of magnitude in mussels is TEL< DML++< TEL+< TML+< DEL++< Pb+2 ; while order of magnitude in sea bream is TEL< TEL+< DML++< TML+< DEL++< Pb+2; TELKeyword: Akdeniz bölgesi = Mediterranean region
