Abstract (EN)

In this research, a questioning was conducted on aesthetic and anti-aesthetic contexts based on the works of Utku Varlık and Jean Dubuffet. The A/r/tography method used in the questioning shaped the research. Through this method, intersecting and overlapping aspects of artists in their life cycles were addressed, and focus was placed on specific concepts and practices. These concepts were combined with the researcher's questioning to create a new perceptual process. The Ar/tography method was used thanks to its favorable approach to art-based research. This enabled the questioning process during the research to guide the researcher. The evolving facts were examined and the elements that nourish the creation process were addressed. The results of the questioning were presented under the titles of artist, researcher, and teacher/learner in a manner appropriate to the purpose and method of the research. The findings indicate that the A/r/tography method creates a researcher context and subjective questioning that focuses on the learner/teacher context. Through these inquiries and research, original artistic works have been produced, which create the artist context of the A/r/tography method. The contributions of the research to the researcher as an artist, researcher, and teacher-learner are expressed in the findings section and linked to the conclusion.
