Abstract (EN)
In this study, carbon-dioxide is used as a working fluid, the energy source of geothermal power cycles are designed and thermodynamic analysis of cycles are carried out. At first a simple power generation cycle is designed with a turbine and condenser on the ground and changing thermodynamic properties in different reservoir conditions of this cycle are analysed. Then, thermodynamic analysis of this cycle is performed for some of the wells? reservoir properties in Ömerbeyli geothermal district. Later, a pump is added to this cyclye and the changes on the thermodynamic analyse is examined. Finally, a thermodynamic analyse is done for a binary cycle design by using carbon-dioxide and different working fluids. As a result of each cycle data, the diagrams are created for comparing and analysing.Key Words :Geothermal energy, carbon-dioxide, power cycle, thermodynamic analysis
