Abstract (EN)

Johannes Brahms' Opus 77 Violin Concerto has always had an important significant with its technicality and richness in musical expression since its first ever performance. Being one of most performed and sought-after pieces of violin repertoire, the work has been widely accepted from the point of view of students as a technical challenge and a ladder for musical progress. However, there has been no study examining the work in terms of violin technique or providing suggestions of practice methods. This study aims to contribute to the violin education in a post-graduate level as a help to those who desire to perform or teach the aforementioned work.
