In the first section of the study, technological nature of media and the characteristics of thenew media atmosphere making it ?new? will be discussed and evaluated. Goal in this sectionis to show the role of new media while shaping the new communication atmosphere instead ofmaking a technological tools list out of it. In the second section named as ? The New NewsMedia and TV Reporting? practices where new media is dominantly in action will beanalyzed from the production to distribution of the news like newspaper automats, electronicjournalism, internet journalism, changes in reporting times and places, changes in news mediaeconomy aspects, TV news and reporting. In the third section which is the research section,we have tried to find out the role and status of TV reporters, the changes in their professionalpractices due to technological and structural transformation of Turkish Media, and how theyexperience and consider the changes in communication process from production todistribution of the news through categorized questions.
