ProfDr. Serap GÖNCÜ KARAKÖK Black and White dairy cattle breeding at Çömlekçi and Margo Farms of Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic investigated for almost all aspects on breeding husbandry and herd management. Recommendations were drown for improvement as a farm for stud animal production. Considerable delay for age at first breeding age, unsatisfactory estrus detection and most of all low number of inseminations Per conception result un acceptable results for reproductive performance of cows. Age at first breeding and calving average aged 19.9 and 29.5 months respectively. Non return rate or minimum and maximum and number of inseminations per conception for years were found as % 19 and % 41 respectively. Results indicate poor reproductive management at the farm. In order to improve structural situation of the farm buildings. An easy and cheep alteration is suggested to meet space requirement of animals. By the suggestion the capacity of the new barn will be doubled. In order to improve the lactation yield of the herd, and to be a real stud farm for the Country improvement at breeding value of cows by hierarchical MOET was suggested.
