SUMMARY Comparison of Basic Conseptions of Popper's Phylosophy of Science and Politics According to Popper, knowledge is a result of solving of a problem. All living things restores themselves and their environment to achieve better conditions to live in. The wishes and needs of the living thing are the most effective during that restoration and change occurs in that direction. From this point of view, knowledge is a process of change and adaptation. In this relation between the living things and the environment, which changes are to be successful and which ones are not can be decided by a process of try and fail. By this way, successful attempts are kept and the unsuccessful ones are eliminated. And the knowledge acquiring process of human beings goes on like this. Scientific processes must be handled from this point of view, too. Because, according to Popper, this process does not occur by getting the trues together, but by eliminating the wrongs. Since each problem that is solved will provide to be in a different position, it means that the problem also keeps changing. According to Popper, knowledge is a result of only one process which is called problem solving process and everything- absolute or abstract- must be handled in this process. All plannings must be done according to this even in the social life which is a political subject of study. Instead of trying to get to utopic social targets which are thought to be achieved in the future, we must try to overcome the problems of the present society. Because this is the best behaviour that fits the natural process of knowledge. In Popper's society, the proposals to solve a problem are not hindered but on the contrary they are encouraged, and Popper claims that every member of the society can make intelligent proposals.
