Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, milk thistle which oil was extracted after cold press method and zucchini, which is easily grown in many areas of our country the active substance produced useful to human health and the last product obtained in laboratory conditions. Cucurbitacine active substances obtained from zucchini where grown easily in our country and spray formulation occured with cucurbitacine active ingredients for sinusits. Similarly, the milk thistle seed with traditional use contains the active ingredient called silymarin. This active substance is not soluble in oil. After the cold press, the amount of the active substance from the silymarin flavonolignan compound was standardized and then mixed with its own oil, and the soft gelatin capsule formulation study was carried out. Aflatoxin, ochratoxin, heavy metal, total ash, ash insoluble in HCl, loss of drying and foreign matter were analyzed at milk thistle seeds. Aflatoxin and ochratoxin were not detected, also lead and mercury were not detected although cadmium was found 0.061 ppm. Total ash result and insoluble ash in HCl were found 4.38% and 0.01% respectively. Peroxide value, FFA, iodine number, saponification number, amount of unsaponifiniable matter and fatty acid composition were analyzed at the cold press milk thistle oil. The oil rich in linoleic and oleic acids. The waste from cold press, the amount of active ingredient was analyzed at the waste from cold press and soft capsule was obtained. Disintegration time was determined as 37 minutes at 13 minutes in 37± 2 ° C and the amount of herbal preparation was determined as 900 mg in the soft capsule, The amount of active substance which named cucurbitacine was determined in zucchini and a spray form was formed. pH, viscosity, osmolality and density were analyzed . the active ingredient was determined and irritation, skin sensitization and cytotoxicity were analyzed. pH, osmolality, density and viscosity values were 6.179, 630 mOsmol/L, 55,4 Mpa/s, 1.080 g/cm3 found respectively. Key words: cucurbitacine, silymarin, spray, soft capsule
