Comparison of educational opinions of Kâbisî ve Zernûcî

Islam is a religion that attaches great importance to education. Hz. The Prophet said, "I was sent as a teacher." The word also accelerated the learning and teaching activities. These educational activities were also very effective in the spread of Islam. Muslim societies have established successful educational institutions throughout history, and Muslim educators have continued their education and training activities within these organized structures. The subject of this research is the comparative analysis of the views of Ebu'l Hasan El-Kâbisi and Imam Burhaneddin ez-Zernûcî, which are considered to be among the aforementioned Muslim educators. The main purpose of this review is to include the similarities and differences between the education-teaching views of these scholars. This also demonstrates the importance of research. When the literature is examined, although the views of Zernuci and Kabisi are discussed one by one, it is seen that each other's views are not mutually examined. In this study, literature review, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In the literature review, Kabisi's Er-Risaletü'l Mufassala book and Zernûcî's Ta'limü'l-Müte'allim' book were examined. The fact that the works of both Muslim scholars have reached the present day has made it easier to obtain data in the research. In the introduction part of the study, the subject and importance of the research, its problem, aims and studies on this subject are discussed In the first part, the lives of both authors, the country and period in which they lived, their works, teachers, students and writing purposes are emphasized. In the second part, the opinions of the authors were compared over the basic question and sub-questions of the research. According to the findings we obtained, in the works of Kâbisî and Zernûcî, they recommended the educators to be compassionate towards their students and it was determined which education-teaching methods they used. The classification of the priorities of both authors in education has been determined, and the information about the necessary, permissible and illegal subjects in education has been reached. Information about the concepts used by both authors about education and the content of their education has been determined. In addition, the knowledge of what are the concepts of existence, knowledge and value in the basic education philosophy, holidays in education, perspectives on women's education, and how child education is have been reached. However, it has been seen that they mostly have common views in terms of the concepts and methods they use and recommend in education. At the core of this similarity, it can be stated that the understanding of Islam in their view of education is effective. In addition, it can be said that the small differences that exist are based on the sectarian differences that are common in the region they live in and they belong to.
