Abstract (EN)
Wireless sensor network (WSN), which is designed by combining several sensor nodes, is defined as a new high capacity platform that is capable of performing many tasks. Nowadays, usage area of these networks is gradually increasing. Especially military field is one of the major usage areas for these networks. Wireless network sensors are required to transmit a data from a point to another in which it is impossible to do so due to the physical and geographical conditions. The system must work in high quality and accurately for a long time without doing any disposition and maintenance as the need of the platform. Therefore, the sensors should be used in such a way that they will work in harmony and with the maximum workload. This cooperation is achieved through the routing methods and it is considered as one of the major problems of WSNs. Basically, routing should provide the transmission of data from the source to the destination accurately and efficiently with the maximum quality of service by using the network in minimum. In this study, a multipath routing model is developed by considering the accurate data transmission and high quality of service. The approaches in the model suggested in this study take the limitations of WSNs into account, have a high quality of service and provide accurate data transmission. For this reason, transmission of data to the destination is assured by using multipath routing. In addition, for the process of transmission after identifying the multipath, quality of service is obtained by reducing the processing loads of routing nodes to the minimum. Thus, all the nodes will be engaged in transmission of data during the process without caring for other decision processes, so a more efficient routing will be achieved. Separate algorithms are formed for fulfilling other aims occurred in the model and it is aimed for having different quality of service in each stages of routing process. In consequence, this study offers a method that can satisfy the needs of quality in WSNs by using the existing limited sources in the most efficient way.The accuracy of the suggested method is verified by testing the designed algorithm both in simulation and in the set of experiment. Accurate data transmission above the success rate of 90 % independent from the number of sensors and high quality of service is achieved by this algorithm.
