Abstract (EN)
Wireless power transfer system which has begun to be popular recently is investigated in this work. Experimental studies are done in laboratory environment. In the previous works, centers of transmitter and receiver antennas were aligned on the same vertical axis but in this work the centers are aligned on the same horizontal axis. This kind of layout is chosen, because these antennas cannot always be aligned as desired. It is observed that the efficiency of this system is lower due to less interception of magnetic field lines in this layout but it is possible to transfer energy though. In the experiments, the response of the system and the affect of the change of load values and the affect of the positions and the number of transmitter and receiver on the efficiency are investigated. New results about the efficiency increase in wireless power transmission which are not found in the previous works are obtained and new suggestions are presented.
