Abstract (EN)

SUMMARYA process of an application development in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) consists of a lot of complex stages based on knowledge, such as choice of nodes and embedded operation system, programming of the nodes, simulation and testing of the system. In this thesis, a WSN system and an interactive simulation platform to make moving objects in indoor place both guide for desired areas and track themis planned. For this, a scenario called ?Vehicle Routing and Tracking Application? has been developed. The base function of the scenario is to access the desired areas or productsin big indoor place which has a thousand of goods quickly via a mobile node and to track the mobile node.A method named ?The Edge Masking Technique? has been proposed for guidance of moving objects. Bounding Box method has been used for position detection. Equationswhich are necessary for RSSI-Distance relation have been obtained by experimental studies and achieved positive results. In the study carried out, MEMSIC TelosB TPR2420 sensor nodes, Ubuntu 11.10 operation system, TinyOS 2.1.0, TOSSIM simulator and Tkinter GUI library for visualization of the simulation of the system have been used.
