Abstract (EN)

While land registry and cadastre activities are carried out in our country, until today, land registry and cadastre activities have been carried out in different areas and with different methods and legislation according to theneeds of the day. In orderto transfer the maps produced in different bases and coordinate systems to a single coordinate system and to eliminate errors in the maps, cadastral update studies were carried out throughout th ecountry, based on Article 22-a of the Cadastre Law No. 3402. Cadastral update studies carried out by Bayburt Cadastre Directorate were determined as a sample studyarea. With the study conducted on the sample study area, the problems encountered in the studies were examined and identified. Inorder to investigate the reality of the identified problems and to offer solutions to the problems, a survey was conducted with the owner, cadastral directorate and the private sector, which are the components of the updates tudies. As a result of the studies and surveys, solutions were proposed for the problems encountered in cadastral updating studies and it was aimed to increase the quality and reliability of the data produced as a result of the updating studies. As a result of the cadastral update studies, a single coordinate system was adopted and title deed information was updated. However, it has been determined that sufficient planning was not made before the studies, tender period sand personnel were insufficient, the necessary sensitivity was not shown to the studies due to insufficient personnel and time, and as a result, there were deficiencies in the reliability and quality of the data produced by the cadastral update studies. It was concluded that adequate planning and adequate information should be provided before thes tudies. It has been concluded that the quality and reliability of the data produced will increase if sufficient time is given in the studies and sufficient personnel are assigned in terms of quality and quantity.
