Case of women entrepreneurship of the Kastamonu province

This study was conducted to reveal the potential of women's entrepreneurship, one of the sub-branches of the concept of entrepreneurship, in Kastamonu. Related to this, women entrepreneurs were discussed in a wide scope and their place in business life and the activities they carried out were examined. Operations of women entrepreneurs in Kastamonu province, the problems they encounter as a woman during the activity and also the characteristics of the sector they are in and the institutions or organizations they receive support from, their future plans and their recommendations for other women entrepreneurs who are entering the new business life are emphasized. A semi-structured form of interview methodology has been used to collect the data. The descriptive analysis method was used due to analysis of the interviews. The opinions of women entrepreneurs, who have an important place in the formation of economic prosperity, will have a special contribution to women who will step into new entrepreneurship.
