Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to identify the obstacles that female employees may encounter in their promotion to senior management positions and to develop solutions. For this purpose, a 38-question survey form, including Career Barriers (Glass Ceiling Syndrome) and demographic questions, was applied to 225 people and data were collected, analyzed and interpreted. The sample of the research is public employees residing in Antalya. Within the scope of the study, t-test and ANOVA analyzes were performed for demographic information and descriptive statistical analyzes of the scale, reliability analysis of the scale and analysis of hypotheses. According to the findings obtained from the analysis results; it has been determined that attitudes towards female workforce differ significantly according to gender, age, marital status, education level, number of children, title and working time. In the last part of the study, the findings obtained are summarized and suggestions about the subject are presented.
