Determine the problems of women entrepreneurs and the research of the effects of these problems on women's initiatives: Adana city example

Entrepreneurship has become an important part of the country's economy and social life in recent years. The importance given to entrepreneurs by the impact of intense competition in emerging economies is increasing. It is aimed to increase the understanding of entrepreneurship and to increase the projects and applications related to entrepreneurship by opening graduate and postgraduate programs in universities and special programs organized by non-governmental organizations. This study was carried out to investigate the problems faced by women entrepreneurs in associations and chambers of business in Adana during their entrepreneurship and the effects of these problems on women entrepreneurs. In the preliminary work, the women entrepreneurs registered with the Adana Chamber of Commerce, the Adana Chamber of Industry, the Adana Organized Industrial Zone, the Adana Commodity Exchange, and the entrepreneurs were identified and filled out with face to face interviews with the entrepreneurs who accepted the interview. The obtained data was obtained from Yrd. Assoc. Dr. Berfu was evaluated by the analysis developed by ILTER (2008). In the first part of the study, the purpose of research, importance, research question, constraints, limitations and suppositions are included. In the second part, the conceptual framework is indicated. While there is information about method of research in section 3, findings in section 4 and finally results and suggestions in section 5 are included. This research covers 232 entrepreneurs who are registered in 5 associations and the city in Adana province and identified as entrepreneurs. The questionnaire form of 139 female entrepreneurs who accepted the interview was taken into consideration. While there are no significant differences in the problems of women entrepreneurs according to their gender, age, marital status and children's ownership status, there are significant differences according to political and legal environment, economic environment and working time.
