A investigate on the relationship between psychological well-being and religious attitudes of female workers (Sakarya province example)

The main purpose of this research is; The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological well-being of female workers and religious attitudes. In the study, the concepts of "psychological well-being and religious attitude" were examined in line with the theoretical data and the empirical study, taking into account a certain group. Within the scope of the research, a survey was conducted with 255 women aged between 18-58, working in the category of worker, varying in their workplaces, in November 2020. In the study, the relationship between religious attitudes and psychological well-being of individuals was examined by considering demographic characteristics. Personal Information Form, Religious Orientation Scale and Psychological Well-Being Scale were used in the questionnaire form. One-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA) and Pearson Correlation analysis technique were used in the data analysis of the study. When the research data were examined, there were significant differences between demographic variables, religious attitudes and psychological well-being, as well as data that did not have a statistically significant difference. A significant difference was found between religious attitude and demographic data of age, marital status and professional experience. A statistically significant difference was found between psychological well-being and demographic data of education level, occupation and professional experience. "I am satisfied with my work environment and working conditions." and "My working hours are suitable for me to devote sufficient time to my private life and family." statements have significant differences with both religious attitude and psychological well-being. According to the research data, a positive and significant relationship was found between the psychological well-being of female workers and their religious attitudes. Accordingly, as the level of religiosity of female workers increases, their psychological well-being also increases.
