Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the level of prenatal caresatisfaction level of pregnant women on delivery type. The sample of the study consisted of 234 pregnant women in the third trimester who applied to the Şehitkamil state hospital between September and December 2021. Permission was obtained from the Institution, the Ethics Committee and pregnant women before the study.The research was carried out in two stages. In the first stage, a questionnaire form was filled in the pregnant women who were followed up in the last trimester of pregnancy and who met the study criteria.In the second stage, the scale was applied to postpartum mothers who gave birth and were hospitalized in the obstetrics service.Introductory "Information Form" and "Antenatal Care Satisfaction and Patient Expectations Scale were (ACSPEQ)" used to collect data. In the analysis of the data obtained from the research: Skewness, Kurtosis, Kolmogorov Smirnov test, Histogram, Independent samples t, One-Way ANOVA, Post-Hoc Tukey or Games-Howell analysis were used.It was determined that 44.9% of the pregnant women were between the ages of 25-29 and received prenatal care (Antenatal care) service in the first trimester. Antenatal care service of 50.9% of pregnant women affected the delivery method, The mode of delivery of 61.5% was determined as vaginal delivery. 60.7% of the pregnant women included in the study preferred the mode of delivery themselves, and 63.7% received antenatal care services of 8 or more.As a result of the study, it was determined that the majority of the women were Turkish citizens and received prenatal care in the first months, and the mean score of the scale of satisfaction with the antenatal care and patient expectations was high.It has been determined that the majority of pregnant women prefer vaginal delivery and the status of receiving prenatal care affects the way of delivery.
