Özet (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the levels of postnatal individualized care perception and satisfaction of women. This analytical, cross-sectional study was performed in 524 women having vaginal delivery in Aydın Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital between November 2018 and July 2019. Data were gathered with a descriptive characteristics form, Benefiting from Postpartum Midwifery Services Form, Individualized Care Scale for Patients and Satisfaction with Postpartum Midwifery Care Form. Obtained data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Student's t test, Mann-Whitney-U test, one-way variance analysis, Kruskall Wallis-H test, correlation analysis, Cronbach's alpha and regression analysis. The mean score for benefiting from postpartum midwifery care was 17.76±4.58. Multiple regression analysis showed that wanting to become pregnant had a positive influence on benefiting from postpartum midwifery care. The variance explained by the regression analysis model was 2.2%. The mean score for perceived individualized postpartum care was 4.23±0.40. Multiple regression analysis also showed that giving birth one to three times created a positive effect on perceived individualized postpartum care. The variance explained by this regression analysis model was 2.1%. The mean score for satisfaction with postpartum midwifery care was 16.94±2.52. On multiple regression analysis, wanting to become pregnant was found to have a positive impact on satisfaction with postpartum midwifery care. The variance explained by this model was 5.4%. In conclusion, women's benefiting from postpartum midwifery services, perceived individualized care and satisfaction with postpartum midwifery care are affected by their obstetric characteristics and women's perceived individualized care had a relation with their satisfaction with postpartum care. Taking the results of this study into consideration while postpartum care is planned and offered can contribute to protection and improvement of mothers' and their children's health. Key Words: Individualized care, lactating woman, midwifery, perception, satisfaction.
