Investigation of popular religiosity levels in the daily lives of women (Gündüzbey example)

This research focuses on examining the religious practices in the daily lives of women in Gündüzbey. The aim of the study is to understand the historical and socio-cultural factors that contribute to the persistence of prevalent beliefs and practices in different societal segments. The independent variables considered in the study include age, gender, education, marital status, and occupational status. A four-level Likert scale and a revised version of the popular religiosity scale developed by Mustafa Arslan were used, employing a random sampling method. The research process involved interviews and observations, which informed the design of the survey questions. The first section establishes the conceptual framework, while the second section discusses the methods and techniques employed. In the third section, the research area is described, and the findings are presented and interpreted with the aid of tables. This study contributes to understanding the levels of popular religiosity and determining how religious practices shape the daily lives of individuals.
