Analysis of woman's place in local politics, Ankara example

In this study, prepared based on the idea that women are not represented adequately in local politics, women?s actual situation in local politics is tried to be set forth and in this context, historical development of women?s participation in politics, the reasons for the importance of local politics for women, the barries to women participation in politics, the measures to be taken in order to provide women participation to politics are analyzed and some proposals are suggested.
