Abstract (EN)
The aquaculture sector is constantly growing and developing in order to meet the increasing world population and the resulting food needs. Investments made and new businesses opened have brought about the need for a new workforce. As a result of working life, the heavy workload of the sector, the increase in the number of inexperienced employees and insufficient education, an increase in work accidents and occupational diseases has occurred. In order to eliminate these negative situations, an effective risk analysis should be created by determining the potential hazards in the business. The aim of this study, it is aimed to shed light on the needs of the sector and new studies to be carried out in this field, thanks to a sample risk analysis to be created for a trout farm in Kahramanmaraş, accompanied by the relevant occupational health and safety legislation.
