The values of theseed yields of the varieties were changed between 156.6 and 255.4 kg/da in earlywinter sowing, 126.8 and 216.4 kg/da in early spring sowing in 2003-04; 148.3 and236.0 kg/da in early winter sowing, 120.3 and 215.7 kg/da in early spring sowing in2004-05; and as combined results of two years values were changed between152.4-245.7 kg/da in early winter sowing, 123.5-216.0 kg/da in early spring sowing. The means of two years, the highest seed yields were obtained from Menemen-92and Diyar-95 cultivars and 45 plant/m2 plant density.Key Words: Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.), cultivar, sowing time, plant rate, yieldII
