Abstract (EN)
THE EFFECTS OF THE QUALITY STANDARTS ON TURKISHECONOMYATAKAN ÜNLÜABSTRACTIn general; the importance of quality, which is assumed to be reached whenproducts or services meet certain needs and satify customers, has increased both inTurkey and the world and eventually, this concept started to inclose idividual andsocial life. The role of quality to increase the social welfare level is quite much. Inaddition, the condition to take a place in the integrated world economy requiresproducing high quality products and services.In this study, the developments in the quality in our country beginning fromOttoman Empire to today considering industrialization movement have beenexamined. While these developments have been examined the effects of quality ofproducts and services on Turkish Economy have been discussed.Key Words: Quality, Standart, Standardization, Total Quality Management, TurkishEconomy
