Abstract (EN)
In the period of Mamluk Sultanate (648-923/1250-1517) centered in Egypt, many quite worthy literal works were created in various fields such as interpretation, hadith, Islâmic law, lexicology, hagiography, translation and especially history. El-Kalkaşendî's Subh'ul-a'şâ fî sınâ'at'il-inşâ book which is one of those literal works is a substantial encyclopedic resource. Kalkaşendî relays quite detailed and important information about Anatolian cities in the book. The book also includes records about Anatolian principali-ties in addition to Anatolian cities.
