The impact of development agencies on regional development: TR41 region

In this thesis study, the effects of development agencies on regional development were examined. Since the said effect changes depending on the differences in their internal dynamics such as the institutional structures, needs and problems of the supported organizations, time and regional needs, a qualitative analysis has been made since no generalization can be made. The impact of the development agency operating in the TR41 region on this region was investigated in depth using the interview method and the document review, taking into account the effects of the financial support programs for the years 2010- 2016 on the institutions/organizations. The main purpose of the study is to reveal and understand the meanings that the participants ascribe to their experiences or problems regarding the support of development agencies. Therefore, in this study; focused on understanding the impact of development agencies on regional development. The impact of the said supports on the region; interpreted through emerging themes.
