Abstract (EN)

Global development aid cooperation remained on the agenda frequently during the period after the World War II. The countries that like to play active roles in the new world order established after the war included their aids in their foreign policies because of economic, political, and many more other reasons. In this study aims to analyze the recent policy of Turkey as one of the supporters of global cooperation and the official aid provider, the total amount and distribution of the aids provided in 2000s is examined. Inconveniences in the policy implemented are identified, and suggestions are given to improve them. Keywords: Development, Development Aids, TIKA, Global Development Cooperation
