Abstract (EN)
Casting can be defined as forming the liquid metal which is known as the one of the first crafts and very important place in human history. In our time, the production must be at higher quality with lower cost according to market conditions? requirements.Despite the fact that high pressure die casting has high investment prices, with die-casting it is possible to make high quality production at low costs. In recent years according to developments in computer science, casting simulation programs can be used in modeling and design of the castings. With these simulation programs and the experience of the foundry engineer all possible calculations and predictions can be done in simulation programs without making several shop trials. The combination of computer based analysis and experience makes the examination of defect causes possible prior to production and heads towards to optimum design. Every day the amount of simulation programs became used in high quality foundries across the world is increasing rapidly. In this study; A360 Aluminum alloy has been cast and simulated with die-casting method in dimensions which is acceptable as thick. All results have been compared and causes have been investigated with real castings.
