Abstract (EN)
Kamal Abdulla is one of the most significant representatives of contemporary Azerbaijani literature. Kamal Abdulla, also known to be a linguist, philologist, Turkologist, poet, epic scientist, Dede Korkut expert, critic, translator and journalist, has served to the development of national culture of Azerbaijan and recognition of its language and literature throughout the world. Based on this study, we shed light on the literary and intellectual world of Kamal Abdulla. The aim of the thesis is to examine Kamal Abdulla's novels in terms of structure. The novels of Kamal Abdulla were examined in terms of novel technique and thematic fiction and style, and the author's word of the novel was analyzed in our study. After analyzing the novels Yarımçıq Elyazma, Sehrbazlar Deresi and Unutmağa Kimse Yox… one by one, the common characteristics of these novels were determined and the similarities between the novels were explained with examples. According to the results of his novels Yarımçıq Elyazma, Tarixsiz Gündelik, Sehrbazlar Deresi, Unutmağa Kimse Yox… the author, having been influenced and fed through the past, takes the myth and epic as basis in his creativity and blends them with modern life and presents them to the reader. Feeding his creativity with history and with past, with folklore and mythology, author's historical approach is different, individual and original. Original language, epic explanation and mythic-psychological issues constitute the main theme of his work.
