Transformation of ideas flows to political parties in public administration and preferred economic systems

The ideas that spread with the globalizing world have been effective in the development and change of societies. Despite every current of ideas, opposite ideas have emerged that hinder him. The ideas of Islamism, Turkism and Ottomanism have emerged against Westernism. Turkish political history is based on these currents. It was established by being influenced by the established political parties and these intellectual movements. They advocate economic models that reflect the characteristics of each political party and they want to come to power to implement it. Although the economic models applied in the history of the Republic were based on production and growth, many political parties were established that could not achieve this. The main reason for the failure is that the political parties did not provide the necessary support for a long time or the wrong economic policies of the political parties. Military coups have left their mark on political life in Turkish political history. Although these military coups were seen as a means of protecting the state, they had both political and economic effects. Every military coup has also affected society socially. Turkey, which has been normalized since the 1980 military coup, has developed in political and economic life since these years. The aim of our study is to transform the political and intellectual currents that have been influential in our Republican history into political parties, to determine the economic and monetary policies applied by these political parties and to examine the results. According to the results of the study, the historical economic course of the republic can be divided into three parts. These are the protective economy model of the establishment period, in this model, the basic food products that the country needs are produced by its own means and the statist protectionist period, which reduces foreign dependency. The second period starts with the transition to the multi-party system and is the semi-statist liberal economy period. In this period, the State State Economic Enterprise was established and production was supported. The third period is the liberal and neoliberal era. In this period, the state was out of production, it was a period in which the social state practices, which it supported and supervised, gave importance. In all periods, political life has been interrupted by military coups and economic areas have experienced many negativities. The Turkish economy has been greatly affected by both these military periods and international economic crises. It is useful to examine these periods separately.
