Institutonalization and institutional image in the public sector: The case of the Ministry of Familiy and Social Policies

Abstract (EN)

In today's organizations, it is an unarguably accepted thought that raising efficiency and effectiveness of public institutions is related to increase institutionalization of public organizations and enhance corporate image positively. In order to overhaul organizational structure in public administration, institutionalization has importance for efficiency and sustainability and corporate image has importance for ensure internal and external target groups' perception be positive. The survey method used in this research which was started the way with the question about the relation between institutionalization level, corporate image and the organizational functioning of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies. In order to evaluate institutionalization level, the personnel of the central of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies have been surveyed. As for that in order to evaluate corporate image, the citizens who receive support from the Ministry have been surveyed in the seven provinces of all country. At the end of the analysis, institutionalization level of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies comes out high and corporate image comes out positive. Also, the researcher reached a conclusion that there is a direct relation between institutionalization and corporate image.
