The comporison of level satisfaction of patients who takes physical therapy in public hospitals and private health settings

The study has been made two public hospitals and two private health settings, especially equal numbers of patients. At first Standart Mini Mental Test (SMMT) has been made to appreciate cognitive functions of patient. The patient satisfaction research has been made patients who have 24 SMMT score. In the research contains techniquel quality, comfort, transportation, communication of physiotherapist, doctor and secretary, cleanliness.Result: It isn?t found important difference when it has been examined about physical characteristic, sexuality, state of being unmarried or maried, education, profession (p>0.05). The patients who have less income and live in country take treatments in the public hospitals but the patients who have more income and social reliance take treatments in special health settings (p<0.05). The patients who received of physical therapy from only one physiotherapist in public hospitals have significantly higher satisfaction than private health settings (p<0.05). The patients in private health settings have significantly higher satisfaction that transporting of hospital and waiting treatment period than public hospitals (p<0.05).Conclusion: Patient satisfaction in public hospitals is reduced because of transporting of hospital, waiting treatment period to compare with private health settings. On the other hand private health settings have less physiotherapist for that reason patient satisfaction is reduced to compare with public hospitals.Keywords: Physical therapy, patient satisfaction, public hospitals, private health settings
