Use of renewable energy in public: For example Kütahya Dumlupınar University Evliya Çelebi Training and Research Hospital

Today, when the development level of countries is determined with the public services they provide, "service sector" is in a dramatically improving situation. The concept of public service is used in many areas ranging from legislation to health, and from education to security. Public services are the management of the needs that are based on common good of the public by government. The administration is responsible for the realization of these needs within the framework of equality of opportunity, to establish public service and to carry out these services. One of the most important service brunch is health-care. As energy is considered as one of the elements in the indication of development, the energy needed in providing public service is vitally important for countries. As the world population has been rapidy growing, the demand for energy is also significantly increased, and the notion that fossil fuels will one day completely used up urged people to look for the sources of sustainable energy. Unlike fossil fuels, renewable energy is the source of energy whose source never used up and which can renew itself continuously. These are the energy of wind, sun, geothermal, biomass and waves. With is rapidly increasing population, Turkey is among the countries which need energy in great scale. Turkey, being in a more advantageous position than most European countries with renewable energy sources it has, owns potential of decreasing the dependence of energy on other counries with accurate policies it will imply. In providing service in Turkey, the most important cost element among the goverment's expenses is electricity consumption. For the reason, constructing building producing its own electricity will certainly increase the productivity supplying public service.
