Abstract (EN)
Intensive Care Units (ICU) are the most common hospital units for nosocomial infection and an increase in the Candida infection has been observed in recent years. Candidas are known to be endogenous origin of the majority of infections which are thought to be cross-contamination. This study was to evaluate Candida isolates which are isolated from blood culture samples of patients are investigate the similarity with DNA fingerprint analysis. İsolated from blood culture isolates of Candida in patients who were stayed ICU enrolled in the study in May and December 2014. Blood culture samples were evaluated in the Bactec system (BD, USA). İn accordance with the proposed procedure, sub-cultures were made from the blood culture bottle of Reproduction. İdentification was performed using convention methods and Phoenix (BD, USA). Microorganisms identified as candida was searched Diversilab (Biomerieux, France) and rep-PCR DNA fingerprinting analysis. During the research, there has been a study on the isolates from 44 different DNA finger prints. With this study, they reached out their results on 40 isolates.40 isolates that were evaluated in this study were consisted of, they discovered 21 isolates consist C. albicans (52.5 %), 12 consist of C. parapisilosis (30 %) and7 consist of C. tropicalis (17.5 %) out of 40 isolates. After the DNS fingerprint analysis, 9 C. parapisilosis, isolates was proven to be in the same clone. Besides, there has shown 3 different similarities in C. albicans isolates. The source of microorganisms also often known endogenous, that has suggested that it may be for some isolate determination. İt is believed that; the most important approach is to touce control over the infections that the patiens with intensive care unit or similar risky factories.
