Numerical simulation of flow around an airfoil is important in the design of aircrafts and turbomachinery components. In this thesis, two-dimensional, steady and viscous flow is studied for subsonic velocities. Navier-Stokes equations are solved by transforming all the equations into the curvilinear coordinates. In the real life, most of the flow problems are turbulent. The effects of turbulence are accounted for by using the standard k-? turbulence model. To confirm the numerical results, comparisons with the data available in the literature are made. First of all, laminar and turbulent flow over a plate is solved and the code is confirmed. Then flow through a nozul, flow over rectangle shaped surfaces and flow over a NACA 0012 airfoil is studied numerically.Key Words: Navier-Stokes Equations, k-?
