Özet (EN)

A rapid, simple and sensitive voltammetric method has been developed for Topotecan (TPT), an antineoplastic drug. Electrochemical activation of boron doped diamond (BDD) electrode was performed in the cathodic direction in 0.5 M H2SO4 medium. To investigate the electrochemical properties of TPT, cyclic and square-wave voltammetry techniques were used on the BDD electrode. TPT gave a well-defined voltammetric response for a potential value of +0.925 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in Britton Robinson (pH 4.0) buffer solution in square-wave voltammetry technique. The voltammetric method developed for TPT provided a linear working range in the concentration range of 0.32 μM -9.05 μM in BR (pH 4.0) buffer solution medium. In the thesis study, LOD=0.27 µM and LOQ= 0.89 µM values were determined. Keywords: Antineoplastic, Topotecan, BDD Electrode, Voltammetry, Drug.
