Abstract (EN)
In this study, the boundaries/limits Kant sets to the domains of knowledge, morality and religion according to his criticism of the dogmatic metaphysics and his analysis of the use of pure reason have been discussed in relation to the concepts of crisis-criteria-critique. Kant's criticism not of systems or persons but of the use of reason independently from empirical observation has shaped his attempt to set boundaries/limits and has pushed him to make a distinction (grenze/schranke) when using the concept of boundary. While this distinction has directed Kant's critique of the traditional metaphysics, it has also become a decisive influence in post-Kantian philosophy. Since we believe that, in light of his concepts of critique and boundary/limit, Kant's questions targeted at the history of philosophy together with the answers he provides are also important to understand the constitutive effect they have had on philosophy after Kant. We have tried to analyse Kantian philosophy, now a cornerstone in the history of philosophy, in relation to the aforementioned concepts. The boundaries/limits Kant sets on knowledge also determine the room he makes for morality and religion. Therefore, we considered it appropriate to include studies in the fields of morality and religion in the relevant chapters of this thesis. In conclusion, despite thinking that the room Kant makes for morality, directed by the boundaries/limits he sets to knowledge, is important and necessary, we have intended to demonstrate that the room made for religion within the boundaries of reason has created a rupture in the individual's world of meaning and that this rupture has been attempted to be made acceptable with the grenze/schranke distinction and usage. Keywords: Kant, Critique, Boundary/Limit, Metaphysics, Reason
